01/16 VSBN Friday Night - MY Favorite Things
**** Hostess: Val (fresshe) ****
Days of our Lives!
Good Evening Ladies
When Lela gave me the theme "Days Of Our Lives" and asked me to Hostess I thought about the "Days of My Life". One of my FAVORITE parts of course is Scrapbooking! So when I put this challenge together it didn't take long for me to realize that I would LOVE to see your interpretation of some of "MY" favorite Scrappin' things!
My challenge to you is to use some metal embellishments on your page, a little bit of chipboard and if you are really up for a challenge use the same page template/sketch.

hey back Lela
Hope things are ok for her dad. Right now DS is playing with his cars and I'm listening to the main Mouse. He's starting to get to the age where if I go to work in my craft room he wants to sit in my lap and do what I'm doing. Cute yes, but can be an issue when I'm working on a real project. |

Hi there--it just means that I used a template because I did it digi-but you could use it as a sketch to work from __________________

Thanks for the interpretation! (thanks to Lela too!) Now that you've explained it, it seems so logical! I'm glad that it's just a suggestion though, since I've had a sketch laying here all week that I want to use! __________________

Oh for sure-just a suggestion--sometimes I just cant make a sketch work--so use whatever you want
Lela=thanks for getting this going, cant wait to see what everyone comes up with! My dad is old and I think wearing out-but maybe in a holding pattern for awhile! __________________

I wanted to run up there today and get a set of Scalloped Oval Nesties. Yeah, I was disappointed with that 25% too! But I don't get to Evansville often! It's about 60 miles from me! I saw those nesties. Not sure about them. Do they work with Cuttlebug? That's the only die cutting system that I have. It said on the box that they worked with most. __________________

Hi ladies. I just put on 102 Dalmations for my son so I'm going to see if I can scrap with you this week . Last week my husband decided I had been on the computer and scrapping enough and asked me to come watch a movie with the family soooooooo. This week he is in the Dominican at his sisters wedding so he won't be interupting. The children however.... Going to go pick thru my stash.

TOO funny, when I rushed in the door, put dinner on after I turned the computer on and told him I was late and I was in a hurry-he said--oh you better watch out - you might get shunned if you are late-I told him-oh hush!!! Sometimes dh's dont dont understand how important our internet world is!

I read here on a thread that 99% of the gals use them with their C-Bug and LOVE it! I have a Big Shot that my DH got me a few Christmas ago and want to use them w/ that. YAY for movies! My son is watching "The Dark Knight" (Batman) again...I told him I would watch it w/ him tomorrow night! He keeps telling me it's AWESOME! ppsssttt....I'd rather watch 102 Dalmations! LOL!

That's good to know....about the C-bug, that is! The ones I saw were around $25 and with only 25% off, I didn't want to get them w/o knowing for sure! __________________
