About Dollar Values
The dollar values of the threads usually go by the manufactures retail price or catalog price.
Sometimes you get items on sale or with a coupon, that isn't figured in. It was decided that the manufactures retail price or catalog value was the most fair way to list prices for your items.
You can lower the value on your items to entice people to snag.
You should lower the value on your item if, for example, it is a stamp set that is missing a stamp or if the set is very well loved (ink stained).
Don't lower the value below the dollar value of the thread you are listing it on. For example for PIF Stamp Sets $13-$18, do not lower the value of a set to $10 unless listing it with something else.
If an item is not in perfect condition you should include that information in your list.
