Too cute! This should be fun. I haven't done a challenge in a long while. This will be a good one to start with.

JEANNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOTALLY LOVE IT!!! I must try this technique TONIGHT!!!! I have to drink something with caffiene.....*as she runs to the door in search of a cherry coke or something!!!* LOL
WOW....what a cool technique!!!! Do you know if it will work with dye ink? I don't have any craft pads or chalk inks. I might just give it a go anyways.
Hey man, the nail file worked great! I'll attach the link when I upload it!
My buffing block did not work...I have to get some larger grit sandpaper from my friend husband.... TOMORROW!!!! UGH....what a loooooooooooooooooooooong wait!! ! LOL EMILY!!! UPLOAD ALREADY!!!!
Oh and side note, when are you coming to Del Rio to meet and stamp with me?????????
I used 100 grit sandpaper - don't have a clue why it was in my stamp room. LOL. I'm having a blast with this technique - have 2 more pending and I just did a background using a Classic pad. The Classic ink works but requires more sanding and is a little more subtle.

Well where is Del Rio?? I am awaiting approval, I did two of them.
WooHOo! I was able to complete a challenge again. I have been so swamped, I can't even remember the last TLC I tried. This was quick & fun, and new to me. Enjoy!

This one was easy and fun. Thanks, Beth! Love this technique. You're such a great scout for all of us!!! I did two and they both have a very different feel.
Been dying to do a challenge! So excited that I got to stamp tonight. I used a sanding block and the effect is kind of subtle, but I still like it. Here's my Fall card:
Ok, so I used pretty coarse sand paper from my DH's stash, and I wish I'd been a little more careful...everyone elses's background seemed a little more faint, I didn't think it would show up like this! Plus it didn't help I used a dark blue....I like how the string looks wrapped around the tag, I've been waiting for weeks to use that on one of my cards! Here it is!
Guys, I will be gone for a month beginning tomorrow for the birth of my new grand daughter who is schedule to come into this world on Thursday via a C-section. My daughter lives in VA and I will not be taking my stamping stuff w/me because I will be too busy keeping my 3 year old grand daughter and our new little Caroline...
I will miss the challenges each week, but I will access to a computer so I will be viewing all your great stuff here on SCS.
Until after Thanksgiving...
Have a good time w/stamping!!!!!!!!!!1
