Question Copic Color Combos for Hair

Help me please...
I'm having difficulty coming up with color combos I like for blonde hair & especialy red hair using my Copic Sketch markers.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Walnut, or Burnt Umber works well when I'm trying to touch up my gray.

I haven't tried Burnt Sienna yet, but, it might go well with the auburn highlights my hair seems to reflect at times.

Girl, lemme tell ya' . . . desperate times call for desperate measures!

All kidding aside, tho, if this is of any help to the OP and others:

I like Cream YR21 and Buttercup Yellow Y21 for blonde hair(on my stamped people.) ;)

For red hair, you might try laying down a little Salmon Red R05 (on it's own, it would be too bright a "tomato" red), and some Burnt Umber E09 where you want shadow, and then go back over between the two with the Salmon Red again, blending the two together for a nice rusty red. If it gets too bright, just add more Burnt Umber to tone it down again to more of a rich auburn look.

HTH,

I found this tutorial for blondes and brunettes - sorry no red heads:
http://scrapbitz.blogspot.com/2008/0...al-3-hair.html

This one had reds (auburn): http://shunshuu-tsunami.deviantart.c...rial-100456860
it's kind of a strange download, but the colors listed are R24 (prawn), R29 (lipstick red), R39 (garnet), and R59 (Cardinal).

Please forgive me, I found this on someone's blog and wrote it in my notebook. I can't give credit to the lady who had this list, I forgot to write her name down. I was impressed with this ladies work and ordered these this last weekend. I am due to get them Friday, so I am getting excited. The list is below, and if this is someone's list and you recognize it, please post your name for proper credit.

Dark Brunettes - E25, E49, E53, E59

Auburn/Red - E13, E17, E18, E19

Dark Blonde - YR23, E35, Y23

Light Blonde - Y11, Y21, E97, E99

Light Brunette - E25, E29, E31

Black - C3, C5, C7, C9

Golden Red Brunette - E39, E99, E18. YR23

Of course, it would have been smart to keep a link to the blog to actually see the lady's work to know what these look like together, but I didn't think of this at the time. So, if one of the ladies posting after me recognizes this list and know where to find the blog, I too would be most appreciative, since I too am new to stamping and need all the help I can get.

I think you are talking about Suzanne Dean's Blog Scrap Bitz

It has charts & tutorials and is an absolutely amazing blog!
