Some of you probably live in areas where you have a true winter, spring, summer, and fall. In fact, the leaves are probably turning and the temperatures dropping where you are. But here, on the good ole coast of North Carolina we're still catching some waves and rays. Even though the seasons may have changed for you, I bet you still got some summertime or vacation photos to scrap. So, why don't you join me for a little "hot fun in the summertime" scraplifting? Here are some links to some inspirational summer/vacation themed layouts for you to choose from:
The OPD (One Page Doc, aka: Master Challenge Thread) that includes all challenges on one page for your printing convenience can be found here: OPD

Well this is new and i'm honored that you picked one of my layouts to lift. I'm really new to all of this but I will try to get up to speed because so far this is fun and inspiring. We are starting to get that little hint of fall when the mornings are nippy, the light starts to change which makes for wonderful photographs, and the pool water never warms up and you realize it's about time to cover it up. That's what 's happening in Sacramento, California today. Thanks again, this is great! Memesackman aka Melissa from ihaveprettierstuff.blogspot.com
Awwww - shucks!!! I feel so special!!! I've been needing a little scrappy pick-me-up lately since I've had to pack up my craft room for our move. Tis was just what I needed!! And - I found couple of new galleries I've not been in before. Yippee!!! Thanks!!
Well ladies, I hope you all like this little twist to the IFC. We are trying to make things more exciting in the scrapbook side of this site. So p.m. me with your thoughts on how the challenge is designed this week. We have a handful of loyal players and I want to be able to keep everyone happy and hopefully bring some new faces over to this side. This is your challenge and I always welcome your thoughts and comments. ;)
Wowee--I just checked out your blog and gallery. You are one talented lady! Couldn't subscribe to your blog from work, but I'm gonna try again when I get home. Glad to have you as inspiration today!

You've got some great pages and cards in your gallery. I'm especially partial to the last one posted with the red, white and blue. Great page!!!
Thanks! I'm pretty far behind on my scrapbooking - 2 1/2 years! Plus I keep adding projects to my already full list....it's never ending. *sigh* I have a goal to do 1 years worth of scrappin done in 6 months before my DH returns from his deployement.
My problem is that I take WAY too many pics and then I can't decide between them all and then I end up with 10 or 12 2-page layouts/month. So, this months pics I cut down from 10 2-page layouts to 6. I'm going to try harder next month to cut down more. Anyone have any suggestions?!?! I need to catch up and I'm sooo tired of doing old pictures.

A friend of mine gave me a great idea that has really helped. She suggested I start with current picts and layouts. They are fun, easy to journal about and give you motivation. Once I got quite a few current done it was much easier to go back and do "older" pictures. I'm still working on "catching up" but I have lots of current completed

Thanks for the suggestion. I may actually do that with the next set of pictures I order.

Okay, so up until now, I'd have to say I wasn't familiar with Mackinaw Island at all, and now, I see pages from both Lela and princpessp1961 in the same thread! I'm going to be an old pro on Makinaw matters before you gals get finished!! All pages are lovely and make we want to go to the beach (which ain't gonna happen any time soon since I love in the desert!)
