You are not alone, Gloria, in the concentration dept. Reynold and I talk about how easy our minds wander during prayer or Bible reading. One of the things I remember when living in a strict Jewish neighborhood was how the rabbis across the street would rock back and forth when praying. Am told it helps to concentrate and have tried it and it does help.
Elee, sore throats are the pits. My dad would always have us gargle with warm salt water which usually eased the soreness.
