. . . as in get your white cardstock out!! (Okay, vanilla is good, too, but didnt make for a very impressive title!)
As I was looking at the sample that emilymomto3boys made for her color challenge the other day CC184 I was struck once again by the absolute beauty of a simple white card. So, that is where inspiration for this challenge came from.
Here is the challenge. Create a card using white or vanilla as the main color (usually whatever shows on the most predominant background layer or top layer, not including cut out images). I am going to set some pretty strict guidelines, so please read em all before you run off to create.
1. White/Vanilla as main color
2. Second color MUST be either black, brown (any shade) or gray
3. Add a third color to accent the first two colors
4. Use ONLY ink that matches the cardstock colors you have chosen no extra colors here!
5. NO patterned paper or background stamps
6. Stamp only ONE image, ONE time, somewhere on the white piece of cardstock. Remember that you are LIMITED to only THREE colors TOTAL!! No cheating by adding extra colors to a line art image that has to be colored in!
7. If you use punches or a Nestabilties-type die, please stamp the image on white or vanilla there as well, keeping your top background layer white/vanilla, too!
8. Stamp a sentiment and add to your card (this step is optional) only use it once
9. Embellish as you like (ribbons, brads, Cuttlebug embossing folders)
10. NO distressing the white cardstock (that would be sponging!) we want to keep these layers clean
My daughter, Amelia (aka WendybellsGirl) was once again my sample assistant. I have really enjoyed including her cards in my samples (now, if I could just get her to clean up her mess!)

Glitter and iiep are just fine! You can use any embellishments . . . just keep it to one image, one sentiment, and three colors (one of which has to be white/vanilla, one which has to be black/brown/gray and a third one of your choice!)!

This is the earliest that I have ever posted a challenge! I could not sleep so I made my card in about 5 minutes! I love it when they are fast and easy. I love the clean, cut look of it. Thanks for such a great challenge. Here is my card:

Gosh, I'm going to have to read that again to make sure I don't infringe any of the guidelines. I'm not good at that style, but I'll give it my best shot after work. Thanks for a good exercising challenge this week.
