I just want to further clarify you fold so the indentation, the score line is on the outside of the fold. This is very important when making cards where the inside will show.
I had a question the other day about a template that was on Nichole Heady's blog http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/
It was an adorable little bird house. You printed out the template on a piece of cardstock. You needed to see the pattern in order to know where to score so technically you are scoring and then folding in, which is the opposite direction to what we normally say. We are folding so the indentation is the INSIDE of the fold. The reason it is ok, is because it will be hidden. You will glue the box closed and you will not be able to see the inside. You will not be opening and closing the fold.
I hope I haven't confused you more.
