I was so inspired by KaylynConover's list of the RGB color matches, that I made charts of each color family so I could copy and paste the color into the sentiment I was writing for cards and scrapbook pages without having to look up each one every time I wanted to use it. Thanks to KaylynConover, NatesMa, KymbersStampin, HeyMeyNell, DorisB, Sparksdm, LoriJ and Stampinaholic for all their input. I would have never figured these colors out on my own.
I have the maximum of three charts listed here and will post the other three on a separate post. I hope these will help you as much as they help me!
The RGB stands for Red, Blue and Green. On your computer you can customize your colors to get the exact color you want. Kaylyn and others have taken the time to figure out the exact color matches for our SU! colors. You can see their other threads on this same forum. They have even done it for the NEW colors coming out!
Thank you so much for posting this! I am a SU color junkie, so this is a lot of fun for me! I appreciate the time and effort you put into this. Thanks for sharing.
You are the best! These are so *awesome* how you have laid them out!!! You have eased the process up *SO MUCH* -- and this was *VERY* time consuming for you to do, I'm sure!
Way to go on bringing such a **FANTABULOUS** idea to fruition!! ~ Kaylyn

Thank you everyone! These lists are great. I just tried them and they are so easy to do. Thanks for going to the trouble to figure this all out, it must have taken hours! You are GREAT!
This is great! It sounds like it could be SO useful with scrapping!!
I have searched the threads, but I haven't fouind any info on the basics of how you do this. I know each printer is probably different, but does anyone know a place to look/start looking for where to do this?? TIA

You are all very welcome! I am so glad to be able to share something back with all the people who have given me so much!
Judi, to change the print color, you click on your font color button, then go to More Colors, then to Custom. You will see a place to type in the Red Blue Green (or H S L) numbers that will give you your "perfect" color.
Thank you so much for formatting this information. And a big THANK YOU to all the wonderful ladies who compiled all of these codes! I've been doing hit or miss all these years (usually resorting to black) and am glad to now be able to add color to my text. Now I will really get to use all these wonderful fonts we have access to!
Thank you, thank you, thank you ALL!

Using these charts will make font formatting even easier.
In MSWord (or any other MS product for that matter), open the chart Wilma created and select the color name. Then, click on the yellow paintbrush in your toolbar. This tool picks up the formatting and you can then move to the file with your new text (the text you want to 'color') and select the text. MSWord will apply the same format (including the color) to the new text. Be sure to do this BEFORE you change your font type in the new text. You'll end up with text the color you want - now you can change the font type or size to meet your project's needs HTH.
Thanks Wilma -- and the fact that they print out in the color makes it even easier to see if it is a match or do I need to "tweak" them for my particular printer. Can't wait to get home from work and download/print them out for my stamping notebook.
Thanks again.

What awesome work! Since I'd also found the 06-07 In Color RGB codes on this site, I also plugged those into your format and made a Word doc of those for everyone as well.

DisneyDoll has updated last year's colours and I'm sure I've seen a preliminary of the new colours somewhere...
