Now I know where to come when I have a printer hooked to my laptop. This will come in handy as I add to my markers.

I also made a copic chart to color in. I printed mine out on white cardstock. It is also in the "lists and charts" section and is a different layout, with all the Copic numbers going across by color.

Oh super!!! I too find that copics are not anything what they look like on their charts! And - I too have found that the colour changes according to what paper I use! This is really useful - thanks for sharing!!

I just realized yesterday that the chart I was using didn't have some of the colors I want to order; so this comes just in time. Thanks.

I like this one...it shows which colors are available in each type of marker. Thanks!

Thanks, Sandy! And it was sooo nice to meet you @ the Copic class in Chicago (I'm Judy that sat next to you!) It was wonderful and inspirational to see all your work. You had some great tips on coloring, and using paper -- I learned more from you, I think, than the class!

(I tried to PM you, can't figure out how to do it on this website. Oh, you probably have a link on your blog. But I wanted everyone to know how wonderful and helpful you are! I DL'd the color chart and will use your suggestion and print it on the different types of paper to see the differences. That is a good tip, too.)

Yes, do it! I reference it all the time. I am always "hiding" it from my one year old...she is forever taking it and wandering away with it. She LOVES books and of course, anything pretty, like the DP. Guess I should make her her own!

BTW, Gale, you cracked me up with your comment on my baby card, the one with the sewing!! I still can't get those corners for nothin'!!

Gale, I have the same chart that you have except mine has 2 more columns! Mine came from CopicMarker.com in the library section. It has the W's on it and the F's.

Default Copic 'Ciao' Marker color chart

I produced this chart for my Ciao Markers. It is very much like the ones Sandy H posted, only on Excel for the 144 Ciao Markers. I hope this works:confused:

Default COPICS

Hi, I have markers, a variety of brands but no Copics. I bought some of Tim Holtz new alcohol ink pens. I have alot of his inks and refills. My problem with that product is that if the nibs wear out, there's no replacement available unless that's coming later. His pens are as expensive as the Copics so I think I'd be better off just buying a large set of Copics. My question (bet you thought I'd never get there - lol) is what paper do you use for coloring in a stamped image? With the Holtz alcohol ink pens he recommends glossy paper. Would regular cardstock work with Copics? There may be a store in my area that sells them but if they don't have what I want could you recommend a site that has the best price? Thanks. Lorraine

My paper of choice with Copics is Cryogen white (www.cutcardstock.com) it has a lovely shimmer and the markers blend beautifully. You can also use Neenah Classic Crest Solar white and Beckett Expressions Radiance white. There are others on the market but these are the ones I like the best. You do not use glossy with Copics, they will streak.
