Digiscrapping websites?
Hi all! I'm finally going to work on some digiscrapping projects. I've been a traditional scrapbooker for a few years now, but since I have a background in Graphic Design, I really want to try the digital stuff.
What are some good websites? I'm looking for layout ideas/sketches, downloadable goodies, fonts, etc.
Thanks in advance!

I love www.thedigichick.com
www.shabbypickledesigns.com
www.weedsandwildflowers.com
and the hub for digi scrapbooking at this time is www.digishoptalk.com
For sketches, I like using traditional sketches like those from pencil lines or so sketchy. But, if you go to any of the sites above, you'll find sketches and other challenges there.

digiscrappin
I was lucky enough to get it at Michaels when it first came out and used my 40% off coupon. It actually came out a while back but I never read it b/c I hadn't started diving in to digi until now. I think you can still get it off of CK's website or probably Barnes & Noble. I have been interested in digi for a while but have never had the time to devote to learning. I saw one of Jessica Sprague's video tutorials and realized that I could do this. I like it that she is so step-by-step b/c I am very new to this.

This is great info. Thanks, everyone. I have already found some sites on my own, but this list is great!! I'm kind of into hybrid scrapping at this point. Too many supplies in my craft room to go totally digital!!!

Hi, my favorite digiscrapping sites are:
rakscraps.com and scrapbook-bytes.com
Both have lots of freebies and great tutorials. They're responsible for me getting addicted a few years ago. Don't have as much time to do it now though, sadly.

Good to know! I've been debating signing up for that course for a few weeks now. I think I'll go ahead and do it!

Jessica Sprague is having a free course starting Nov. 9th... I thinking today, the 8th, is the last day to sign up...
I am a newbie at digi scrappin also, and found that it is very addicting and overwhelming at all the graphics you can find.... I think I remember that I have a family and home that needs TLC....lol...lol...lol

I have taken TWO of Jessica Sprague's online classes and they are AWESOME! The up and Running class is THE BEST for beginning digi scrappers!

Something I didn't see here was http://ikeagoddess.blogspot.com/ She has tons of freebies listed, of different types (templates, kits, elements, etc) almost every day. Also, if you like free brushes try http://www.brusheezy.com/brushes for tons of free brushes in all sorts of styles.

My blog has freebies, too
You can find a lot of freebies if you head over to my blog ( www.digicyberscraps.com). These are all kits that I've designed myself. There are a lot there, as well as blog trains that will take you from blog to blog to download kits around a certain color scheme and theme. I just participated in a valentine convoy and on March 1 I'll be posting my part of a birthday blog train.
If you stop by, drop a note in my shout box that you read my post here.
As some of you have mentioned, digifree is THE best place to find out about freebies that are out there. She does a wonderful job!

If you would like to make a paper photo cube instead of a page, have a look at easyphotocube.com where you can make a printable photo cube pattern out of 6 digital photos. the pattern is its own web page that you can print, link to or send via email to your friends.

You can check out this website below:
www.mycmsite.com/marlascropshop
then click on Help Zone...digital scrapbooking and there are some really helpful online digital classes. There is Digital Done in Four. There is free software that is downloadable from the shop products, then digital scrapbooking, then under Downloadable themes. If you have questions, please feel free to email me at [email protected]

Hey, for any of you who are getting into digi--a weekly digi challenge just started a few months ago here on SCS. Check this week's challenge (to get and use some free digi elements) here. There's even a prize being offered!!
Come check it out and join the fun--the challenges aren't hard, even if you're a beginner, so you can learn as you go along! And you can use whatever software you want.
