someone mentioned on the main board they were looking for updated faux postage templates. so, i found two existing templates [one created & posted by Idallof; and the other created by Beate], and i updated them both with the current postage price of 42 cents. i'm posting them here, but want to make it clear this is NOT my work, nor am i attempting to make it appear as if it is my original work.
That was me! Thank you so much. I had made a card using the old amount not thinking anything of it but the person I gave it to made sure they told me all about it!

Suppose someone wanted to alter this type of template, ie using Euros or another denomination. How could it be done using CS4?
I realize this was asked long ago, but if you have any of the Adobe Creative Suites (CS2, CS3, CS4, CS5) you can open a PDF file in Adobe Illustrator and edit it. It will print nicely from Illustrator or you can save it as a PDF if you choose.

I've used this for years. It allows you to open, edit, and save documents FROM tons of different formats and TO different formats. You can even "export" a file as .pdf. You can't edit the .pdf file after you export it, but you can edit it before you export it as a .pdf, if you like. VERY quick, easy and usefull!
Is there anyone out there who could update the faux postage template in Resources to the Forever style? Given that the PO is only doing that now (and forever we suppose?) it would be a one-time-and-done fix. A big thank you to the computer literate and skilled folks out there. Something like this is way beyond my skill level.

I can't do the one in Resources but I can edit the Word file attached here, and can probably save it as a PDF too. The problem is I've only seen the round international forever stamps, so I don't know what the wording on the national one is, or where it should be positioned. Googling yesterday left me more confused because some said USA forever and some said forever USA. I totally get your request, I already made my own template for Euro stamps a while back.
Thank you so much for your willingness to help out with a new template. The US stamps all have USA and FOREVER on them. They are placed on various areas of the stamps depending on the design. If you Google "usps forever stamps images" you will see tons of examples. Of course, on the website the word Forever has a line crossed through it (so it can't be copied and used for real postage) which is not the case on valid stamps we put on our envelopes. Thanks again for sharing your time and computer skills. You are very generous.
I'm having trouble with the pdf conversion because my version of Word suddenly stopped doing it a few years ago, and when I tried bringing into another program, I lost some of the formatting.
I've edited just the top two sets of three on this one - if that's the sort of thing you're looking for I could do the rest of the page.
If you want something similar to the one in the tutorial - some time I could do that, but it wouldn't be till the Easter holidays as I'm pretty busy in work. I can find in my emails that I have sent people my own template before, but I can't find the template. That was 6 years ago, so I likely deleted it.
Editing to add - I'm attaching a pdf with a template. See how it prints for you and let me know.

Ok I must be behind the times. What is the reason for the use of these templates? As I read it says faux so my mind says its to use as an embellie but then the further I read it sounds like they are to be used as real stamps? I am one of those people that actualy goes to the post office so I am really unfamiliar with digital stuff.
Sabrina Oh ok now I think I get it. I must have brain fog this morning lol. What a great idea!!! Though I don't have any pictures I have in the past used the catalogs I get in the mail from the post office on the stamps that are available to order and cut them out and use them as embellies on card fronts. Never thought of the above idea of template and stamping. Cool idea. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
