It was SO fun to see everyone's goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2008! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...

The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done, use more in our stash before buying new (well at least keep track) and save $$ at the same time which becomes scrapping budget $ for next year -- or vacation money or Holiday fund!

Let's bring back our Daily Theme's! They were always fun for Discussions.

Here's the schedule:
*Manic Mondays - on Monday's I will post a link to a scraplift or blog page that offers ideas for "multiple" picture l/o's. So many of us have those big events (Christmas, Hanukkah, Birthdays, Sports) that we hold off on scrappin because of so many pictures we need to use. Let's start getting them into our scrapbooks!
*Tootin' Tuesdays - This is the day for you to SHARE your latest STASH Find! Let's keep lookin' through our scrappin' stuff to be sure we're using as much of what we already have as we can! We'll have a drawing for a little prize for the person who posts all 4 Tuesdays a STASH FIND!
*Wish Wednesday - on Wednesday's we'll keep our WISH WED going. We've only had a couple wishes posted so far but I know there are more out there...
*Thinkin' Challenge Thursday's - This is one of our favorite day's because Tami always posts a FUN challenge for us! Be sure to check out Post #6 for each week's challenge.
*TGIF -- Thank Goodness I Found....my PHOTO of the WEEK. This month we'll start a NEW fun challenge. Friday's let's post our "photo" of the week. In Post #5, each week I'll list a "photo" theme. Add your photo attachment and we'll see who's got the photo that we all think most matches the theme for that week. This is to encourage ALL of us to get out there with our camera's and keep taking pictures. Generations to come will enjoy a variety of pictures and ideas in our scrapbooks, let's make sure we photo "every day life", not just events!

So..."WHAT�S BETTER THAN BASEBALL?"
Baseball AND apple pie thats what!!!!!

For our special pie party we combined two challenges for you. Our regular Thursdays challenge with a yummy, mouth-watering apple pie twist! Loaded with cinnamon (paper), nutmeg (brads), and loads of apples (loads of baseball fun) this challenge is sure to be a winner. The good thing about this huge slice of fun is that the more pages you make still amount to ZERO calories!

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Use red and green designer paper (colors of apples).

2. Use some sort of embellishment like brads, eyelets, or look a huge baseball mitt (nutmeg).

3. Use a base solid page (cinnamon).

4. Load it with fun (tons of apples.)

** Extra bonus points if you use APPLE paper, APPLE stamps, APPLE stickers/die-cuts, or anything to do with BASEBALL.

5. Page can be any size.

I am so far behind with my pages I am really embarrassed to say what my goal should be ( we have birthdays March 28, April 9, April 30, May 11, May 21, May 29, and June 15) so it is non stop photo ops for 3 months!!! I have got to get caught up so I am going to say 30 pages and just my stash plus the 2 monthly club kits I subscribe to. That means no trip to Mikes, my LSS or even the dollar store and certainly not to my Creative Memories consultant's house!!! This will be tough!!!

Thanks....I got lucky! I had lots of time off in January, February had open weekends and I've been to scrap weekend retreats 3 times this year already which always gives me a chance for LOTS of pages.

I've got a "motivation" right now Sally. My oldest is going to be a Senior next year and I only started scrappin' in 2002. I want to be sure to have all of his scrapbooks done for his Graduation Party next year. I'm making good progress....

Hey gals! I met my goal in May. Who knew I would freak out and make 20 pages for my mom's Mother's Day present?

I think I told you that it was such a hit! In fact she wants me to "upgrade" from 8x8 to 12 x 12. Okie Dokie Mom.

June is busy but surely it wont be like May! I seem to have lost about 3 weeks! It just flew by.

I want to "challenge" myself a little bit cuz, I'm feeling feisty so, I will say:


10 pages (one of which I MUST digi)

I also have more pictures to sort, yes the same pictures that I keep messing up.

I will also finish the 100 invites to my dads surprise party in July

I am going to say that I wont spend over $10 on anything that is not a committment order.

I'm hoping that since I have a birthday later in the month, I will get some $$$ from my parents to play with. My scrap savings is wiped out due to graduation and other "life" stuff.

Belle, You sound like me! I have had birthdays, spring break visitors, Easter, Mother's Day, Proms and graduations at my house in the last 3 months.

My Lss is going out of business and I've killed myself not going in there. Today was their last day. But the gas tank prevailed and won.

Well, in May I joined this thread, and committed to 10 pages, which I completed. Not wanting to overdo it - I will commit to another 10 for June. I have scrapbook club once a month and that is $20, (we get a kit, so it is worth it) - of course that $20 takes all my savings at this point in time. :( I have plenty of stash, so there really is no need to purchase anything either. Of course, most of my pages may end up being my 8 x 10 CM pages since I don't have alot of 12 x 12 page stock at this point in time.
