Because this is the last long weekend of summer and my kids go back to school on Tuesday, this is going to be a very busy weekend. I decided to have a Ways to Use IT Challenge recap of all the challenges we have done to date. There are lots of participants who weren't here when we started the challenges and I have missed a few myself because of events in my life.
This week's challenge is to pick one of the earlier challenges that you either missed or have some new ideas for and do it. Please put the two keywords (WT24 and whichever previous week you are doing) in the keywords section when you are uploading your card and post a link back here.
WT01 - going gray
WT02 - glitter
WT03 - vellum
WT04 - paper crimper
WT05 - embossing powder
WT06 - stampin' around
WT07 - tags
WT08 - eyelets & brads
WT09 ribbon
WT10 - glossy paper
WT11 - buttons
WT12 - background stamps
WT13 - fibres and hemp
WT14 - stamps you haven't used in a longgg time.
WT15 - pop dots
WT16 - crystal effects
WT17 - Sponges and sponge daubers
WT18 - scissors
WT19 - wire
WT20- pastels
WT21- aquapainter
WT22 - spectrum pads
WT23- shadow stamps
Everyone is welcome to play along. This is not a contest. No prizes, no time limit, no pressure.
If you want to follow the actual thread of say, stampin' around wheels. Just go to the top of this page to the search button and put WT06 in the search space and it will search for it for you. It is sometimes worth going back and looking at the original thread as for some of them, I have posted idea and technique sheets in the thread somewhere.
I'm one of those that got a late start on challenges. Took a me a while to get a gallery going, so much to learn. So I chose a week I wasn't involved and used glossy paper. I love the stuff, not as much as my family but running a close second.
This card was such fun to make and it's really not hard. My SIL request one before I made it because she loved my very first upload using the same technique.
So here is a...... Dark & Stormy Night!

I found time to play too. I chose to do a card from WT04 (crimper) and WT14 (stamp set I haven't used in a LONG time). I was needing to do a happy card, so this is as bright as I could get it. Not my usual style, but I like it just the same. Thanks in advance for looking!
I've looked at some of the examples for the first challenge..."going grey", but could I get an explanation of what was suppose to be done?
Thanks...

For what ever reason the search will not let me find WT01 in this forum, that's weird! So I looked at the cards in the gallery and they are all using either going gray ink or cardstock. That's a Stampin color.
Hope that explains it and correct me if I'm wrong someone!
Here is one of mine that covers quite a few of the challenges. It covers:
WT04, 06, 08, 17, 21!
This is a fun WT challenge--great to catch up!
Thanks to Julia for the post and thanks for looking!

Here is another that I did for the wet paper watercoloring but it fits the WT09
challenge as it has ribbon on it!
Thanks for looking and thanks again Julia for the list of challenges

This was the original challenge that started the Ways to Use It Challenge. There was a thread in General Stamping aobut how most people NEVER used either the ink or the paper so I created a challenge to find ways to use them.
