Yup, ditto here on the Milwaukee....but I think SU's is made by them? It is wonderful.......good heat.....not too loud (whine of the motor is much lower than the Marvey and such) and it lasts FOREVER......I've had mine for 15+ years. I took it apart once when it stopped....fiddled around with the switch and it has worked just fine every since. I even got a couple off the 'bay as backups so I wouldn't be without but haven't needed them....yet!

I have a Wagner and it's more of an industrial/craft heat gun and it works GREAT!! I bought a very inexpensive heat gun and it lasted maybe 2 uses and it really frustrated me. My husband took it apart and said it's made very cheap and not made to last long. The one I have is very similar to the Milwaukee Julie HRR has. Good luck
I have an old purple Marvy and has not failed me. I've used other brands and I don't see a difference. I don't think I need it any hotter and it heats up fast enough. Can somebody explain why it matters? TIA
I had a Marvey.....years and years ago.......it lasts for a while but burned out within a few years....mind you I used it a lot! It was louder than my Milwaukee.

Well I have the "Embossing Heat Tool" Marvy Uchida model 2500 it says the 360w but not actual temperture.
Sparkly plumish color with gold words from Michaels Craft store with my 50% coupon a couple years ago. I have bought the first one and it short circuit the 2nd time I used it. I got another one and it is fine, it seems like it takes a few second to heat. But once it is hot it is hot. I have tried SU one the past I cant remember it.
My first heat gun was and still is "The Milwaukee". And I've been stamping for 26 yrs now and I've dropped the Milwaukee one a few hundred times and it's still working. I have the ranger heat it one too, it's a little quieter for when you need to use it late at night. But, Milwaukee is the one I always grab.

has anyone got a cordless one, Kristen from Hanna stamps had them and she said she loved it. I lwould love to be able to take it to friends, retreats etc and not have to look for a power point. She also said it did over 80 cards before it needed refilling.
My Heat It Craft Tool heat gun (white) finally broke down just an hour ago. I need a new one ASAP.

I was a SU demo from 1996 to 2001 and bought the purple one at Michael's. I SWEAR by it and am still using it. I bought a pink one at HL and I hate it.
