I've been viewing SCS for years, joined over a year ago, and finally started my own blog. Actually, I have 2 blogs, one for my CTMH cards & projects, and the other one for just any crafty stamping thing I want to post. I have 15 years of paper, stamps & stuff-- too much to be monogamous to CTMH, so I don't want to mix & match projects &/or intent.

I love stamping & making cards especially. I've been stamping since a Stampin'Up party, and I've just evolved as a stamper since then. My personal style is collages and doilies and frilly stuff, so much so that some of my friends now point out stamps as "Dawn's Style". I do try other techniques and draw inspiration from the great stampers at SCS.

I don't know much about blogging, so if anyone checks out the blog, I'll take constructive criticism and advice. And I'll probably be posting questions when I get stumped!

You knew it was coming.... This release is the second one we've had this year and I'm starting, in my head, to put together the next.

Once, at my LSS, a friend of mine commented that a WHOLE wall was covered in flower stamps. When asked why, the owner said "Because flowers are so popular" So the whole wall of flowers made sense.

For me, I can never seem to get enough "Happy Birthday" stamps. I literally must have a couple of dozen. I figure, everyone has a birthday, I can't use the same stamp to them twice. I mean, really.

So, what type of stamp can't you get enough of? With the last two fabby TCP releases, I've got another hankering to have another ATC swap (Nancy's awesome ATC box set at the pajama party did not help the hankering go away either). :)

Swap deets as follows:
Vendor requirements: Any TCP stamp that you wish!
Swap will be 10 total (you make 10, you get 10 back including 1 of your own)
Swap will be due on 8/01/2013
Use quality cardstock (at least two layers) and embellish as much as that little ATC will hold! If you're a regular participant in TCP challenges, you shouldn't have any problems in this area. Think twine, bling, brads, glitter, sequins, die cuts, etc.

Essentially, your very best work!

NO METERED POSTAGE, all PO's are different as far as if they will/wont accept them regardless of what your post office says. Please include the same amount of postage for the return envelope that was used to get the swap sent to me plus a little extra, just in case. I'll return the extra if I don't need to use it.

Please include your name information on the back of your ATC's along with the ATC number ( ie 1 of 10, 2 of 10, etc). Also place all of your swaps in a ziplock bag for protection and write your name on the bag with a Sharpie or post it note.

Please include a self addressed envelope so I can send all swaps back to you with the correct amount of return postage (see above regarding postage). A padded envelope will help ensure that your ATCs arrive back to you safely. They're mini works of art afterall, so I want them to arrive safely!

Let’s have some fun with our favorite characters! These can be steampunk versions of any character you like. Some examples would be cartoon characters, historical figures, or fictional characters. Let your imagination run wild (within reason – remember these are intended to be attached to a gift eventually.:)) If you sign up for more than one spot, please do a different theme for each spot. Remember to send an envelope for each card.

Description: 3”x3” gift cards (6”x3” folded in half w/envelope to fit).

Quantity: 4 (+1) each spot. You will not receive one of your own back.

Details: NVR, but please use plenty of color and embellishments. Please include at least your SCS Name, Swap Name, and other details if you like. This way we know which artist did what.

Deadlines:
Sign-up date: August 1, 2013
Due IN Hand: August 30, 2013 (please time your mailing accordingly)
Any cards received after the due date will be returned unswapped.
Returns will be mailed within one week.

Mailing instructions:
Packaging: Place swap items in a large baggie for waterproof purposes. Write your real name, SCS name and swap name on a piece of paper and include in the baggie for identification purposes. Place baggie inside a self-addressed stamped envelope for return mail purposes, or I will reuse your envelope if at all possible. The amount of postage on your SASE should be the same amount that it takes to mail to the swap hostess + 2 stamps. All unused postage will be returned to you. Place your baggie and/or SASE envelope inside your mailing envelope and address it to:

What does that mean to you? Where do you find serenity? I find peace and serenity near the water and in nature. I am so blessed to live in the country, houses away from a small lake. There are wooded areas and a cottage road that goes along the lake and in the early morning, I love the peace of the lake and woods as I walk.

My photos....... the first two taken this morning on my walk. As I was standing there taking a picture of the chairs on the dock, there were large (approx. 15- 20 inches) fish jumping out of the water near the shore! Lots of ferns along the edge of the woods too.
The next photo was taken at sunset at the lake, so peaceful listening to the waves coming in. I love the sounds of the waves coming in and the seagulls..... they can wash away the cares of the day.
