Altered RSVP Pen

Transform an ordinary pen into a stylish accessory.

Supplies

  • RSVP pen or any other refillable pen

  • Cardstock

  • Ink

  • Stamp

Step-by-Step

  1. Step 1

    Unscrew RSVP Pen and remove insides from the clear exterior.

  2. Step 2

    Trim cardstock scrap to 3 1/2" x 7/8".

  3. Step 3

    Stamp cardstock.

  4. Step 4

    Place ink tube back into bottom of pen and screw back into place.

  5. Step 5

    Finished Pen

Variations

  1. Use Designer Paper instead of cardstock. It's easier to roll up.

    Make a matching Post-It™ note holder.

These are so fun to make. I've found that you can use a Mr. Clean Magic Easer to remove the RSVP writing on the side of the barrel.

I just bought the RSVP pens at Wal-Mart. They were 2 for $.97 or a 5 pack for $2.42.

Our Walmart had the pens on sale for back to school - so you know I had to get red ink for Christmas grin and of course black and blue.
