Vicki Parson - basement stamper

What?! It can't be ME can it?! Being apart of the Dirty Dozen Design Team is so very exciting and a true honor to say the least! I can now cross off one of my bucket list paper crafting dreams come true! I have admired such talent in this group for so many years & often drooled in the gallery over all of the talent that has already been here and done it! (years and years ago I have admired them all!) Now I have the ultimate pleasure of sharing my creations here with you...I hope you enjoy this journey along with me! smile

Hello friends! My name is Vicki Parson (aka basement stamper) and I live in a small town from the Midwestern state of Illinois about 40 miles east of the Mississippi River. I reside with my stunning and supportive husband of 17 years along with our beloved pet doxie, Mocca who turns 11 yrs. this July. I am also a proud mother of two college age sons who are currently in the pursuit of finding their own way in life. I have had the privilege for the last 15 years of being a stay-at-home mom for them. I also have a wonderful Step-Son and daughter-in-law who have given us 2 grand children with another on the way! Now I'm currently a happy stay-at-home wife taking care of my husband. We look forward to a future of travels after his retirement in another few years or so.

I have been a paper craft artist for so long that I honestly don't remember exactly why or where it came from, but I can recall being totally swept off my feet through Stampin' Up! in the late 90's and it just kept me going and developing from there. I would like to say that my style is unique in the fact that I don't really have one particular style that I have kept with. I'm attracted to so many different things that it's hard to focus on ONE thing to the point where I find something else that I want to try out. Whatever I find myself "in the mood" for is usually what I go with doing. I also enjoy challenging myself to utilize as much of my supplies as possible. (After so many years, a crafter can build quite a stash of goodies!) smile

I wanted to say thanks to Lydia for inviting me along to share smiles with you all. (This is something I love to do as my blog name is "Stamp Smiles"!) This is such a fabulous honor to be able to share inspiration with others here as this is where I have found inspiration myself for so many years.
