Robin Clendenning - stamperrobin
Oakhurst, CA
Hi, my name is Robin Clendenning but I go by Stamperrobin here at SCS.
Thinking about this bio, I wanted to tell you some things that you might not know about me. At 20, I went to France, Austria, Switzerland and Germany with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) for about a year.
I worked on a chain gang (quite literally), we made tire chains for cars, trucks and tractors.
I was a machinist for an aircraft company where we made parts for the Trident Missile, Navy submarines, helicopter, and etc.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 31 years, I have two grown children and 2 grandchildren (so far). I have been working for my hubby since day 1...I guess that comes with the territory when you own a small business.
I've done a lot of different crafts over the years as most of you probably have, (My mother was a crafter/artist too) but in 1996 I started stamping and I was hooked! I used to joke that my sister, Vicki, infected me with a stamping disease.
I live in a small mountain town in central Cali close to Yosemite Nat'l Park. My DH and I love to hike, backpack, rock climb, snowboard and wakeboard although I don't rock climb much anymore at almost 61. That about sums it up except that I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up!
