Pam Hooten - iris
Greers Ferry, Arkansas
I was a little stunned to say the least when Julie PM'd me! I laid my head down on my desk at work and did my best to control myself, LOL! I am so honored to be a part of this talented group of stampers. I'll do my very best to live up to the DDDT!

I was so fortunate to find SCS! I now have several close friends that I wouldn't have found if I hadn't stumbled onto this wonderful site. I have learned so much from so many of you! The friends the talent and the awesome people behind the scenes are what make this the place to be!

My name is Pam Hooten, iris here on SCS. I grew up in Springfield, MO. When my dad retired he and my mom moved to Arkansas where they were born and raised, I followed shortly after, what a change! This city girl went country real fast! I met Terry my husband and we live in Greers Ferry, a resort area on Greers Ferry Lake, where my husband was born. It's a beautiful small town that quadruples in population in the summer! I'm a licensed insurance assistant, I have worked full time in the same agency for 19 years.

My story is like a lot of others, I have crafted in one way or another for many years. I think my first craft was the pot holders that you weaved on the little plastic loom Ü I had seen rubber stamps in craft stores and I just didn't get it, until I went to my first SU! workshop a couple of years ago, I got it then and I haven't turned back. I became a demo a short time after the workshop to cut the costs on my huge SU! orders. I did a lot of scrapbooking before I found card making and SU! I have loads of pictures to get caught up on, hmmmmm, I think I need to place another order Ü
