Michele Boyer - Shel9999
Virginia
Well...here I am in a place I never thought I'd be! When I got the note from Julie asking me to be a member of the Dirty Dozen, I literally sat in my chair and stared at the note for a good while. I must have read it at least twenty times. I thought, "Well, this is SO exciting!" Then I thought, "Oh my gosh! I don't know if I can do this!" But after a night of tossing and turning and little sleep, I decided to give it a try, and I have to admit it has been a lot of fun. It truly is an honor to have been asked and to be stamping with such a talented group of ladies.
In the non-stamping world, my name is Michele Boyer. I live in Virginia with my wonderful husband and two children, 6 and 3 3/4. (I have to add that 3/4 as my daughter will firmly insist she is "NOT just 3!") When I'm not running between schools, sports activities, building Star Wars Legos or looking for that one missing Polly Pocket shoe, I like to cook, read and stamp (not necessarily in that order).
I've always been into some type of craft or artsy thing, but I've only been stamping for about two years. When I was first invited to a Stampin' Up! workshop, I thought "What in the world is this? Rubber stamps? You've GOT to be kidding!" My friend had just been to my Pampered Chef party so I felt a bit obligated to attend her workshop. Little did I know... I was immediately hooked. I couldn't wait for that order to arrive! I joined a stamp club and soon realized, this is crazy! I should just become a demonstrator and at least get a discount. So that's what I did. I've been a demonstrator for almost a year. It has worked out well, supporting my hobby/habit/obsession.
So...enough about me. I'd just like to say thank you for this opportunity, thank you for this site (I LOVE IT!!!) and thanks for looking!
