Who knew that a clean and simple gal like me would be so excited to jump into the dirt pile? Lydia did! I kept reading her message over and over to make sure it was real! What an honor to join this amazing team of designers!

I live in the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY. My husband and I have two grown children, one delightful granddaughter and five dogs among us! We are fortunate to live near each other and spend a lot of time together especially at our camp on a nearby lake.

I taught elementary school for 34 years and was introduced to cardmaking by one of my third graders. He brought me a beautiful basket of cards for Christmas and I asked him where they came from. He replied, "Oh they are all over my house. I can bring you lots more!"

It turns out his mom was a Stampin' Up! Demo. I booked a party and the rest is history!

I never expected the impact that cardmaking would have on my life after I retired from teaching. One thing led to another and before I knew it I had a blog, was taking online classes, traveling to events and meeting fabulous stampers along the way.....both in person and online. I joined Splitcoast early on - it is an amazing resource and full of wonderful people!

I am currently on design teams for Freshly Made Sketches, Fusion and the Stamp Review Crew. I am fortunate to design with teams whose members encourage, support and cheer each other on! I look forward to working with the Dirty Dozen......I have always been inspired by these fabulous artists! I think I will go read Lydia's message again......just to make sure I'm in!
