SCS Dirty Dozen??? Me??? OMG!!!! I was so blown away when I got an email from JulieHRR! ~ lil' ol' me???

anyways... about me... where do I start...? I grew up in Southeastern Washington state. I always was kinda "artsy"... loved to draw & paint & create... actually considered commercial art as a career but I didn't really want to put that much pressure on my hobby... so I majored in Agriculture and then got married. (I was actually voted "Most likely to marry the Marlboro Man!" ~ because of my cowboy who would drive from Montana to visit me... What can I say?) Well, we got married and he told that he would never move from Montana ~ so here I am.

I have lived in Montana and been married to Mike for 15 years this September (where does the time go?) I am a stay-at-home Mom of 2 boys, Brandon 11 and Corey 9. We are into all the great outdoors stuff ~ you know... dirtbiking, fishing, hunting, camping and probably any other outdoors stuff you can think of... guess it's a good thing we live where we do... We raise sheep & cows, have dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, 1 guinne hen, 1 horse, 9 mules and 3 pigs at the moment... are there any other animals here... not at the moment! I guess I am a true country girl at heart!

About 9 years ago a neighbor called me up and said, "Do you want to go to a stamp party with me?" "A WHAT??" (never heard of it... postage was floating through my head... how dull would that be???) then she said, "You know rubber stamps..." (well no I didn't know... but nothing better to do so I tagged along... and purchased over $100 of product... including Swags and Sprays... what was I thinking??) Soon afterwards I had had several parties ~ I was always my best order... funny how somethings don't change... 5 years ago I took the plunge and have been demoing ever since.

I think what I absolutely love most about being a demo and stamping is that I can show anyone how to be "artsy" with or without artistic ability. I have had people tell me "Oh, I could never do that...!" and then "Wow!!! I made that??!!" It's a shot of self esteem!

So, on that note I would like to say "Thank You!!!" It is such an honor to be asked to be a member of such an awesome group of stampers!!! I will do my best to create... no pressure there!!! Ha!!!
