Oh...My...Goodness! I am so excited to be here! Who would have thought that a little 'ol hobby could turn out to be so much more?...Somebody pinch me!

My name is Kim Teasdale and some of you may already know me as my alter ego blondie090277 here on SCS. I reside on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, where I have lived my entire life and have been married to my best friend Bill for almost 8 years. I am a stay at home mom to my very busy preschoolers, my son Taiton is almost 5 and my daughter is 3.5 years old and going on 13 already! Somebody once told be that stamping was cheaper than therapy...good thing too because I think that I'm going to need alot of it in the years to come! lol

I have always enjoyed being crafty and I condsider myself an artistic "sponge". I happen to be the type of person to see something that I love and then want to learn everything about it. Some of the things that I love to do besides stamping are: embroidery, tole painting, stained glass, watercolour painting and quilting.

I was initially introduced to stamping 2.5 years ago when a friend dragged me to a Stampin' Up! home party where I sat there and participated in stride. Eventually I decided to host my own party, start buying some supplies while soaking up all the knowledge that was to be stamping...which brought me to Splitcoast. I {heart} Splitcoaststampers! Much to my husband's chagrin, I spent countless hours browsing all of the galleries and slowly emptying our bank account by purchasing all of the things that I obviously *needed* lol I of course then needed to be a Stampin' Up! Demo so that I could have my cake and eat it too!

My Dirty Girl journey began back in December while chit chatting with Jenn Balcer on Facebook about the upcoming CHA. She knew that I was attending with one one of my design teams and extended a personal invite to join all of the SCSer's at the Cupcake Reception. I was thrilled to say the least, but even more thrilled when Jenn private messaged me to ask that I reserve 6 months of my time for being on the Dirty Dozen! I screamed with joy and jumped up and down so much so that my poor kids thought that I was crazy! Needless to say...I couldn't contain myself! I finally got a chance to meet sweet Jenn at CHA and to thank her in person for this amazing invitation smile So far I have learned that the hardest part about being a Dirty Girl is keeping it under wraps for so long!

I am so thankful for all the friends that I have made on SCS, all of the information that I have learned and all of the inspiration that comes from everyone who uploads their wonderful creations. I am very humbled to have my name along side so many talented women that have unknowingly taught me everything I ever knew about this wonderful craft.
