Pinch me - PLEASE pinch me! This is just too good to be true! I cannot believe I am part of this amazing team of stampers, it is unreal! When Jenn emailed me asking me to give her a call, I was really curious and wondering: is this spam? Am I in trouble? Did I post something that was illegal and she was going to kick me out? Hahaha! NO! When I talked to her and she asked me to join the Dirty Dozen, I was floored! Me? Little ol' me? YES! Of course I'll be a part of this fantastic group! That phone call made my summer. Thank you Jenn!

I was born and raised in Colorado and spent my childhood loving the outdoors. Growing up, my family would go on camping trips several times during the summer - and I mean camping; just a nylon tent separating us from the wildlife lurking about at night. Good times! I went to college and graduated with a degree in Secondary Mathematics Education and taught middle school and high school math for 3 years. After teaching I decided to try out the corporate world and worked for an insurance company in Denver. I decided to be a stay at home mom after my first was born in 2002.

I started stamping in 2003, just after a girlfriend invited me to a Stampin' Up! party. I was instantly hooked and in the fall of 2004, I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I hosted parties and did workshops for a while, but lugging everything around became a hassle - so I started hosting classes in my home. This was much more my style! I'm not a sales lady, that is for sure. I'm more the quiet, behind the scenes kind of gal. This is when I became more of a hobby demonstrator and taught different techniques as I learned them.

I found Splitcoaststampers soon after becoming a demonstrator and was in awe of all the incredible talent out there and loved all the different styles. My stamping since I've started posting here has come a long way - I've gone from super simple #that means hoarding all my embellishments# to clean & simple and loving my embellishments - no more hoarding for me! It's amazing what a little card stock, ribbon and bling will do.

That's me in a nut shell - I'm so excited to be sharing my hobby with you! I'm just so honored to be a part of this incredible team for the next few months!
