Heather Nichols - pinefeather
St. Cloud, MN
I am so excited and honored to have been invited back into the Dirty Dozen and that I get to stay a little longer this time! Splitcoaststampers has become a big part of my life in the last year – it is a wonderful community with a great common interest. There are many places I would have never gone and wonderful people I would have never met without it.

People know me as pinefeather (pine for short) or in real life Heather Nichols. I live in St. Cloud, MN with my husband Chad and daughters Tacy (5) and Hana (2). I recently took a big step and became a full time stay at home mom for my busy family. My oldest daughter Tacy has cerebral palsy and between her appointments, therapy and school we are running around a lot. She is a sweet girl that has overcome many obstacles (like walking on her own this past fall – hooray!) Hana is a busy 2 year old that talks enough for the whole family and keeps us hopping. She is my artist in training, always wanting to play with my supplies and already knows most of her colors.

I began stamping when I was about 12 years old. I was given a tackle box of stamps and supplies for Christmas that year and have been going ever since – needing more of a room now than a tackle box to store my growing pile of supplies. I majored in graphic design in college and have always had a huge interest in printmaking, bookbinding, and paper arts in general. I went to my first Stampin' Up! Workshop in 1997 and became a demonstrator in 2002. I love the teaching part of being a demonstrator – sharing the neat things that are possible with rubber stamping and watching the excitement when people try things for the first time. I am excited to share my ideas and designs with you during my stay here on the Dirty Dozen Design Team!
