Francine Vuillème - #Francine
Three Lake, Switzerland
Hi everyone! My name is Francine. I live in Switzerland – I'm bilingual in German and French – in the wonderful Three Lake Region with my sweetheart and our three cats. Since 2007, I’m a graduate of a Master’s degree in History of art and Archeology. Now, I’m doing a PhD (and besides I'm teaching German and French just a few hours a week).

I was creative since I was a little girl. I began with drawing and painting with my mom (she is so creative – I’m sure I inherited this love of crafting from her). When I was 17, I embellished my first photo album with stickers and journaling but I didn’t know that it was a basic form of scrapbooking.

I discovered scrapbooking in 2009 by leafing through a book and it was love at first sight! It changed my life, as well as my shopping habits grin. Since then, I think of crafting in the shower, while cleaning, before sleeping and in almost every spare time I have. I started out as a scrapbooker but I discovered cards shortly after. Now, I make from time to time mini albums but I do create more cards because I get them done faster. However, I love both, scrapbooking and cardmaking, equally.

What can I tell you about my crafting? I have no particular style or perhaps an ever-changing one grin… It depends on my mood and inspiration. I like to try new ideas, different styles and techniques. But you’ll see that I love coloring, creating little scenes with stamps from different companies, using my blending tools and playing with stencils. I have a huge passion for rubber and clear stamps. My favorite colors are pink, purple, apple green, rainbow and pastel shades and everything that SPARKLES.

My hobbies besides crafting (is it possible to do something else wink ?!) are cooking (and of course eating !!!), playing bowling and party/board games with friends, reading books and taking walks along the lake. I couldn’t live far from a lake and without my cats! Cuddling with them makes me SO happy.

I’m thrilled to be a Dirty Dozen Girl! I never saw it coming. Splitcoaststampers and his members are a never-ending supply of inspiration and it’s a great honor to contribute to that, even if only a little bit…

Hugs to you all!
