Denise Marzec - peanutbee
Southeastern Pennsylvania
Hi everyone! I'm Denise (peanutbee) and I'm SO EXCITED to have been asked to be part of the Dirty Dozen. When Jenn called me on the telephone and asked what I was "doing for the next six months", I think the first word out of my mouth was a high-pitched "REALLY?!?!" I thought, "Who me??" I probably sounded like a giddy fool, but I jumped at the chance to be part of the team. Wow, what an honor! Thank you, Jenn!

A little about me…I'm 38 years old and I live in Southeastern Pennsylvania. My husband and I will be celebrating our 10-year anniversary this year. We both work out of our home. I'm a mom to two beautiful girls. My oldest is 19, just completed her first year of college, and has an amazing art talent that I've always admired. Our youngest is just a little over 3 years old, is definitely a clingy little mommy's girl, and keeps me hopping! Yep, 16-year difference between the girls. My husband always jokes and says, "Well, we couldn't have the second one until the oldest was old enough to babysit." Funny man!

As a kid I grew up around drag racing, and now we're big NASCAR fans around here {go #29!}. We love going to races in our camper. We try to get to two or three races per season. It's always fun to sit back and hang out with friends at a race. We also like going to the beach, the mountains, and amusement parks…I'm a big roller coaster fanatic. And, of course, when we go camping, I take my stamps too!

I was a scrapbooker for many years, and in April of 2007 on a whim decided to host a Stampin' Up! workshop because someone said I could use stamps in my scrapbooks. I was hooked right away and loved the instant gratification of card making. I almost immediately signed on as a Stampin' Up! hobby demo. My upline {hi Carol!} conducted some really great technique classes and told me about Splitcoast! I loved SCS immediately and spent so many hours gazing at the galleries and reading about techniques. I participated in a total of 21 swaps over a period of time and then even hosted one, found wish-RAK and the PIF threads where stamped images can be shared, and started participating in the daily challenges. I'm addicted to challenges!! Oh my word, LOVE 'em! What an awesome way to be inspired, try new things, practice, and develop your own style. The best part of Splitcoast though…I've made some really great friends along the way and look forward to making more.

I'm truly honored to have the opportunity to design with the "dirty girls"...still can't believe I'm writing to you from this gallery! You all have inspired me so much! I'll do my best to inspire you a little too. {Hugs!}

….P.S. I'm SOOOO glad the secret is finally out. Whewie!
