Christina Fischer - cmf1216
Lakeside Park, KY
I can't believe it! I'm here in the Dirt Pile! My heart leapt to my throat when I received the PM from Lydia, and I couldn't call her back fast enough! Thank you, Lydia! It's a little surreal that I'm typing this introduction -- I'm so THRILLED and HONORED to be here!
My name is Christina Fischer, but I'm known around here as cmf1216. I live with my family in Lakeside Park, Kentucky, which is just about 10 minutes south of Cincinnati, Ohio. My husband Chris and I have been married for 20 years, and we have four children. Our son is 18, and our daughters are 16, 9 and 7. Our life is very busy with school, work, sports, and lots of other activities -- and that's why I STAMP!
I'm a teacher by profession, but I've been a stay-at-home-mom since our son was born. I do a lot of tutoring and substitute teaching, and I hope to return to the classroom in the near future.
I began stamping seriously about 10 years ago when I attended a Stampin' Up! workshop at my friend Ann's house. My SU! Demo, Robin, told me about this great stamping site called Splitcoaststampers, so I thought I'd check it out. I lurked around a while, and then I finally jumped in! I started a gallery, played in the challenges, and grew in confidence as a papercrafter. The next big leap was into blogging, and things have not been the same since!
I am so blessed that this "hobby" of mine has taken me places I never imagined I'd go! I have been fortunate enough to design for some amazing companies, and I have met some of my best friends! I am so thankful to Splitcoaststampers and the stamping community for giving me a home!
I am SO looking forward to the next six months, and I can only hope that I can create something that inspires you the same way I have been inspired!
