I'm so excited to be here! You've read from all the Dirty Dozen girls how excited they were when they got "the call" from Lydia. Let me tell you, it really shakes you up when those words asking if you would like to be a Dirty Dozen Girl? I wasn't sure that is what she said and had to ask again. I was so excited and gibberish, I almost forgot to answer. Finally, the word, "YES" came from my mouth.

I live in the state of Alabama with my husband. We have two wonderful sons and their wives. The other plus is three small grandchildren, two boys who are five years old and a three year old granddaughter. They light up our lives!!!

My hobbies besides crafting are working in the yard in my flower beds, taking walks in the park, just about anything outside. I used to do needlepointing until cardmaking came along and I haven't had time in what seems like forever. But, I still love the gorgeous needlepointed pillows and framed pieces. Maybe someday I'll find time to get back to that hobby.

I'm going to tell you a funny story. I used to go to my Hobby Lobby and pass by the wood stamps. I would wonder what people did with those things and was thinking they would surely quit stocking and selling them. They were, at that time, on an outer aisle and I never went into the card and scrapbook section. Can you believe it?

It wasn't long before my sister went into her Hobby Lobby and met a girl who introduced her to Splitcoaststampers. My sister encouraged me to make cards. What? I had no desire, but decided to visit SCS. Well, that was the end of my spare time. I was hooked.

I will just say, I never knew there was so much you could do with paper, stamps, paints, die cuts, etc. I've learned so much from so many talented people while on this journey. I hope to continue with all of you and maybe give a little inspiration along the way.
