Splitcoaststampers - Rubber Stamps, Card Making, & Paper Crafting

My husband, Greg, and I have two children, Erica 13 and Dawson 8. After our son Dawson arrived, I was introduced to scrapbooking and Stampin’ Up!

After moving to Charleston, I struggled to find another circle of friends as interested in cardmaking as I was. But, somehow, I stumbled upon Splitcoaststampers.com. I cannot remember if I googled Stampin Up and it came up or what. I just thought: Oh, my . . . the mega load!!! The rubber utopia!!!

Of course, if you make enough cards and mail them, or give them as teacher’s gifts, someone eventually notice. I started having mini workshops in my home, and finally became a SU! demonstrator in Spring 2005.

After going through 5 moves between 1999-2006, we decided to build a home where we currently reside here in North Carolina . . . It would take roughly four months to build. During this time, most of our stuff had to go to storage, but I do believe having all my stamping stuff available was the only thing that kept me sane!

My faith in God and the joy of my craft have kept me grounded in life. Card-making is a form of giving to others, a way of reaching out. The enjoyment I receive from creating a card to cheer people up, or offer support, keeps me doing what I do. I thank God for the ability to express myself through paper . . . 'cuz heaven knows . . . I cannot sing!!!

I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Dirty Dozen and so honored to have an opportunity to give back some of what Splitcoaststampers has given to me!
