I am SO honored, excited, and humbled to be here for the next six months, it's truly something I never dreamed would happen to me! I've been a member since 2005 and always see the new ladies getting chosen every month and think how awesome it must feel. Well, it feels pretty awesome and I'm so thankful to finally be here. smile

-A little bit about me-
I have been married to my sweet Billy for 6 years. We are both active duty in the best branch in the military, the United States Air Force!!! HOOOAH! We met at my first duty station (his third), Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, Montana. We are currently stationed at Kadena AB in Okinawa Japan. Yes, it's totally cool, but I'm REALLY ready to come back to the states (in two more years!)
-We have two dogs, Luke (my sweet yellow lab) and Jesse (my rambunctious chocolate lab). No human kids yet, life in the military is kinda busy and you're never really sure what's going to happen in the next six months.

-I started scrapbooking in 2005. It all started when I was looking through my mom's Avon catalog and I saw a little scrapbook kit. I have NEVER been creative so I thought "what the heck", how hard can THAT be? LOL! Holy moly, I really hate to look back on the things I made at that time, they were hideous, but all an important part of the journey! I can't wait to be reunited with my old scrapbooks when I get them back in two years and see how much more I've grown. I have Splitcoaststampers to thank for that, truly. If it hadn't been for this site, I'd probably have quit long ago (and been alot richer, lol!) After a year of almost exclusively scrapbooking, I found a CTMH consultant and started stamping with clear stamps. Let me tell you, it was ALLLL over! I mean the concept of starting and finishing a project in an hour was thrilling, lol! So really I never turned back once I started stamping! I still love to scrapbook, it just doesn't happen often.

-I've been on a few design teams and have met the most wonderful people through this hobby. I can't wait to see what the next six months hold in store! Thank you all for the welcome, it means so much!
