LSC104 - Scraps o' Ribbon
You probably already know that I LOVE ribbon! And I don't like to waste it either. I save almost all of my scraps of ribbon. It has to be smaller than an inch before I'll throw it away!
This week, we are playing with scraps of ribbon. You may use other embellishments, but when using ribbon.... scraps of about 4 inches or shorter is all you should use! Staple it, tie it, knot it, make a tab, double slot it,.... get creative!
Don't have any ribbon scraps? That's OK. Just cut it short... soon you'll probably start saving your scraps, too.
Keyword: LSC104
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!

I'm so relieved she lived that I didn't feel the "need" to chat. And I'm exhausted.

So I guess the card I did for TLC104 this week qualifies - the card inside the cross over pulls out with a ribbon. Hopefully I'll have time to make another card with a ribbon scrap.

Ok, Jen you are going to teach me to save those scraps aren't you? BTW, love your samples, especially that whale.

Well, I might have to dig in the garbage - J/K. I do have a few small pieces on my table, but when they're too short to tie, I usually toss them. Great challenge, Jen. thanks.

Thanks, Jen, for another great challenge. Had to pick the trash for this one! (It was only my stamping closet trash--dont worry!!)
This was fun! I was determined to use the new chick stamp I just got:

Well, I am going to cheat and post one I did yesterday for SC112 because I really used a scrap of ribbon! I had my stamping club Tuesday night and there were leftover pieces of ribbon on the table when I was cleaning up so I put them in a pile and then used one while making this card yesterday! LOL!
Here it is!

I finished this card and posted it earlier tonight, and I too save my scraps of Ribbon and used quite a few of them on this. I am going to try to create something else tomorrow as well! (better wait 'til tomorrow as it is after 1:00 a.m. here!)

Jen, you must have been reading my mind (or sending me vibes this week). I just posted this on my blog (should be showing in about an hour) . . . how about a way to STORE all your ribbon scraps?!!
Check out THIS JAR!
Now I'm headed off to Houston SU Regionals to give this jar away as a door prize at the SCS dinner Friday night!

What a great challenge, Jen. Thank you. You rock!
I have my ribbon scraps in a little jar on my stamping table. I use them all the time!
I will have to start playing as soon as I get my first born to the school bus!

This is exactly up my alley! A couple of days ago, I was cleaning my stamping station and my neighbor came over and chatted with me while I did so. I had so many scraps of ribbon! In little baggies...
This is the challenge for me...Now to find stamping time.
Can someone send over 5 hours of free time for me? Maybe I ought to ask my Secret Sis for some!
hehe.
